Donald "D.J." Jeremiah Craig Jr. is a character from the soap opera Days of Our Lives, portrayed by an child actor Matthew Bischof.

Background

D.J was Marlena Evan's first child.  She had D.J. while married to Don Craig, however D.J. was born prematurely and died when he was only three months old from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

After DJ's death, Don accused Marlena of over-working herself while she was pregnant, which may have resulting in D.J.'s premature birth and ultimately his death.  The death put a strain on Marlena and Don's relationship that they never fully recovered from.
