Storylines[]

After Roman "died" in 1984, Eric came to Salem to see his family. What no one realized was that years earlier, he had molested Kimberly, the memory of which had stayed with her all her life. She began keeping a closer eye on him when Marlena invited him to watch the children. When she caught him trying to molest a little girl, she reported him, and eventually testified against him, which originally caused a huge rift in the family, and cause Shawn to have a heart attack. Shawn ended up renouncing his brother, Eric later died in prison, where he was sent after being convicted of child molestation. Many years later, Kimberly Brady was discovered to have multiple personalities (after Roger Lombard hit her with a car) and was almost responsible for killing Roman.
