Jada Hunter -Stein is a character from the soap opera Days of Our Lives, portrayed by Elia Cantu since July 19, 2022. She is the daughter of Marcus Hunter.
History
After leaving Salem, Marcus Hunter met and married an unnamed woman. He has two children with her: Jada and Talia Hunter. Jada and Talia likely grew up with their parents until their father and presumably their mother passed away. Jada pursued a career in law enforcement while Talia followed in Marcus's footsteps and became a doctor.
Jada was married to Everett Lynch 20??-2021 his real name is Robert Stein but she called him Bobby and he cheated her for Stephanie Johnson for about two years of their affair and Jada found out Bobby was cheating so they divorced and she moved to Salem and he was with Stephanie until he accident.
Storylines
Jada arrives in Salem on July 19, 2022, and has interview with Commissioner Rafe Hernandez. Jada is hired, and immediately tasked with bringing in Sarah Horton, who had become a person of interest in the murder of Abigail DiMera. Jade also reconnected with her father's old friends Steve Johnson and Kayla Brady.
The investigation into Abigail's murder brings Jada and Rafe into conflict with Sloan Petersen, who represents Leo Stark when he becomes a person of interest. Clyde Weston was eventually revealed to be Abigail's killer, and after he is apprehended, Rafe and Jade continue to work closely together and develop a friendship with one another. Jada becomes involved with Eric Brady, but it ends after he cheats on her with Nicole Walker.
Jada learns she is pregnant with Eric's child, but ends up aborting the baby after Nicole puts doubts into her head about being able to be a mother and have a career. Eric's life goes off the rails and Jada worries about him. Jada helps Rafe locate and apprehend Orpheus.
Jada and Rafe get really close and start to develop feelings for each other, but they both realize nothing can happen between them due to him being her boss. In March 2022, Talia arrived in town, and Jada was happy to see her sister. Talia stayed with Jada till she could afford her own place, but Jada was confused as to why Talia applied for a job at Sweets Bits, and said she was a baker when she wasn't.
