Jude Roman Brady is a fictional character on the soap opera, Days of Our Lives. He is the only surviving child of Eric Brady and Nicole Walker second surviving child. Originally thought to have been EJ DiMera’s son due a DNA test switch tampering by Sloan Petersen.
Jude Roman Brady shares some similarities to his cousin Sydney DiMera who is his paternal aunt Sami’s daughter with EJ.
Jude Roman Brady is born on November 10, 2023 but shown on-screen November 13,2023.
Ari Zucker who portrays Jude mother Nicole was let in October of 2023 and her contract expired in January of 2024 and it was confirmed she is leaving before summer which June and it was Also confirmed Nicole had reunited with her son Jude before her and Jude departures the reunion took place the week of May 20th-May 24th .On April 25, Ari Zucker announced her final aired date is July 29 as Nicole and Nicole will be leaving with Jude.
Jude father Eric Brady left town to Paris, France and this would be Greg Vaughan exit it quite possibly that Nicole and Jude followed him when Ari exits.
Background
In early 2023,Nicole and Eric had affair on their respective partners EJ and Sloan when their baby was conceived.
In early 2023, Nicole started having stomach pains and she was rushed to the hospital only to find out she was pregnant.
Nicole had sex with EJ and Eric and one of them could be the father as Sloan hears the news she heartbroken with anger and decides to tamper with the DNA test results which reveals EJ to be the father of the baby, which left Eric heartbroken, he ended up having sex with Sloan and their ONS resulted in a pregnancy.
In July of 2023, Eric finds out Sloan messed with the DNA test results to make the baby look like EJ’s and which she switched his test for another test in which she placed in her mouth and sent off to be used as a DNA test in Eric’s name, the truth angers Eric to point he yells at a pregnant Sloan.
When EJ and Nicole wanted to do DNA genetic testing and turns out when pregnant Sloan read the results she was shocked to find out Eric is actually the biological father of Nicole's baby not EJ, she then schemes with Melinda Trask to change the results of the test to make it look like EJ was the father again. When Nicole finds out the results, she was relieved not knowing Eric is actual father of her child.
Pregnant Nicole finds out Eric and Sloan are having a baby, she was stunned by the news.
EJ asked Nicole to marry him and she said yes but Johnny wasn't happy by the pregnancy news and engagement but eventually came to terms with it. EJ decided he wanted to elope right away but Nicole is in no rush.
On August 21, 2023, Nicole feels the baby kick and Sloan collapsed while pregnant and couldn’t breathe and she was going to confess to Eric about being Nicole baby father but then she is rushed to the hospital doctors were able to save her but Eric and Sloan baby had no heartbeat and was announced they had miscarriage leaving both heartbroken but Sloan was still going to tell Eric about his other baby and is grieving their baby.
A pregnant Nicole overheard Eric telling someone on the cell phone Sloan lost his baby and Nicole was heartbroken for Eric and even help console him.
Melinda advised Sloan not to confessed to Eric and Nicole that her baby was Eric’s and Sloan starts to deal with guilt after lose of her own baby and she even told Eric she blamed herself for their baby death and he didn’t know what that meant when she said that.
In October of 2023,Nicole who’s in her third trimester of her pregnancy she and Eric run in to each other and Eric said he really wanted a baby of his own and that Sloan and him are planning on adopting a child which left Nicole shocked.
Nicole ordered another genetic test and Sloan finds out from Melinda and Sloan got scared that Nicole would find out Eric the father she then breaks in the DiMera Mansion where she then stole the genetic test papers and tried to replace them with another copy of fakes.
Nicole and EJ along with Eric and Sloan gets married on the same day and then Sloan and Eric gets news of their adopted baby is born and they go to pick the baby up but Eric is busy and Sloan get the baby herself and where Nicole car accident causes her to goes into labor on the same day but it turns out that Sloan and Eric falls through and Melinda was left without a baby to give them.
Storylines
Jude Roman Brady is Born to parents Eric Brady and Nicole Walker in November of 2023 where Leo Stark and Dimitri Von Leuschner helps deliver Nicole and Eric’s baby on the side of the road due to Nicole being in accident on the side of the road.
Nicole got to hold her baby boy but then passed out due to her injuries from the car accident and EJ shows up to take Nicole to the hospital where she wakes up and tells EJ she gave birth and doesn’t know where her baby boy went and EJ is angry they both arrived to the hospital.
Leo and Dimitri took Nicole and Eric’s Baby Boy to the hospital where they saw a opportunity to get out of jail by giving Nicole and Eric’s baby boy to Melinda so she can have a baby for Sloan and Eric to adopt.
Nicole was told her baby boy had “died of his injuries from the car accident”which wasn’t true he was given to Sloan when Dimitri gives her Eric and Nicole’s baby boy and Sloan is happy to have a baby but then Melinda tells her later that night the baby boy she was holding is Eric and Nicole’s baby boy she is shocked but then she do what ever it takes to keep Eric even if it means she keeps Nicole’s baby and blackmails Leo and Dimitri into keeping a secret in exchange for a get out of jail card.
Nicole and Eric hugs as they “grieving the lost of their baby boy”and EJ looks on and see them hugging and gets jealous.
On November 22, Eric and Sloan name his son with Nicole Samuel Jude Brady the name is after his twin sister Sami Brady and late great aunt Samantha Evans “Sam” for the first name but also Eric and Sloan own son they lost as result of a miscarriage back in August Jude Brady “Jude” as middle name and ironically Jude middle name is Samuel.
Abe came to the hospital to visit a grieving Nicole and bring her flowers and they grieved Her “son death” together.
On November 24, Nicole demanded to see her son but doctor Pierce didn’t want to give her the baby and kept making excuses not to and that he lied under Melinda orders to says the baby was cremated by accident and Nicole is devastated to learn “her son was cremated by accident and doctor Pierce told them it was mix up with autopsy labs”leaving Nicole and EJ Heartbroken but Nicole want EJ to leave it and not sue the doctors but knowing Dr Pierce lied to Nicole he wants to hold Melinda accountable if he goes down for the crime she and Sloan are committing.
Later that day Melinda brought Eric and Sloan Nicole’s baby son and Sloan holds him but he doesn’t stop crying around her and Eric decided to hold him and he stopped crying and Eric even stated he has beautiful big blue eyes and that he was excited to be his father (Eric not knowing he was actually holding his son with Nicole) and Sloan looked on worried as always and Eric decided to take the baby for trip to the Pub and visit Eric father grandpa Roman Brady and when a grieving Nicole who recently arrived with EJ to get take out she then meet up with Eric and he has “adopted baby boy”with him (both not knowing that the baby boy actually their son) and Nicole looked at the baby boy in the stroller and told Eric if she can see the baby and Eric looks sad for Nicole but agreed and let her hold the baby boy.
Following that day when Nicole holds her baby she tells Eric that baby he adopted was her own son and he is shocked and even EJ who stopped by seeing her hold the baby in her arms she then give Eric the baby back and demanded to know where Sloan got the baby and Eric meets up with his mother Marlena Evans to tell her what Nicole going through and about the baby she lost and he adopted but admitted he loves that baby regardless of what happens to the baby and Sloan who was just threatened by Dimitri to tell EJ and Nicole the truth about the Baby or else he would tell them her son alive and that Sloan plot with Melinda on the kidnapping of the child and keeping him as her own adopted baby leaving Sloan fearful and helpless but also EJ goes to Leo and demanding answers about what happened to the baby or he will be charged with murder of Nicole’s baby and Leo is fearful of what could happen to him and Dimitri.Holly came over to convince Eric to have a DNA test on the baby he adopted was her mother Nicole son he agrees to it for Nicole to get closure.
The next day Eric almost told Sloan about the DNA test and she had to leave to get Leo out of jail and follow on Dimitri words or else he tell Nicole but then she told him to turn himself to the police department if he wanted to get Leo freed and so as promised Leo is released from jail but unknowingly to Sloan that Eric and Nicole go to the hospital as both agreed on the DNA test for their baby and which Sloan know nothing about and the two start having arguments about the past kidnappings even suggested Sloan stole her baby and Eric believes the baby that he and Sloan supposedly adopted isn’t hers but Nicole denies what he saying and believes that the baby he adopted is in fact hers so they both getting a heated fight over it and Eric calls Sloan to the hospital but when he calls her to come to the hospital it for a DNA test on the baby they supposedly adopted and when Sloan learns about she rushes to hospital but leaves Leo at the station and she arrives at the hospital but Eric already had the DNA test results when she showed up in Kayla office with Nicole there ready to get results and Sloan looks hurt by the decision but them Nicole starts fighting with Sloan and she takes the DNA test results from Eric and read them in front of Eric and Sloan and she said that baby is mines and which shocks Eric and Sloan pretended to be shocked that Nicole DNA there wasn’t enough of the DNA on her toothbrush so they test EJ DNA with the baby DNA and they didn’t match in the results which left Nicole heartbroken and she always knew the baby was hers and then Sloan and Eric takes the baby back to his apartment and Nicole is left grieving again and told EJ about the secret DNA test she had done behind his back and he forgave her for everything but then told to go bed and get some rest and Nicole hugs EJ knowing EJ is the father of the child “Sloan and Eric adopted son”and then Nicole has flashbacks of her son she was holding on the night of the accident and called him a miracle and then Nicole goes up stairs and gets some rest. Sloan and Eric apologized to each other but also remembered their miscarriage with their son that Sloan planned on naming Eric Jr. but then they settled for Jude after his late brother and because Eric knew a pastor name father St. Jude who mentor him to become a pastor himself and then they hug each other.
Following that day Leo find out the baby Nicole gave birth is alive from Dimtri who got cuffed before he can tell him the full story and Leo is shocked by all the news.
December 8, Dimitri revealed everything about Sloan and Melinda stealing Nicole baby to Leo he is then shocked and hurt and he want to make Sloan pay for putting Dimtri in prison but then he says his goodbyes to Dimtri and kept his wood on getting his revenge on Sloan and Leo shows up at the DiMera mansion.
Leo trys to tells Nicole and EJ that her baby alive and everything about the child being stolen but they don’t believe and they want him to pay for saying that and he then leaves and to go to Sloan and threatens her by blackmail if she doesn’t do what he says he going to expose her then Eric shows up and kicks out Leo.
Eric was seen with the baby and Jada Hunter congratulated him on his new baby because she aborted her baby Baby Boy Brady-Hunter with him just a year ago and she has moved on from her grief and told Eric she moving in with Rafe to start a new life with him and Eric is happy for Jada.
A stunned Sloan was shocked to see Eric come in with the baby and Eric is mad at Sloan for letting Leo in his apartment without his permission and soon as Leo goes he finds out Dimtri is transferred to a super max prison after getting into a fight with Lucas and Leo finds out there are no visitors allowed and he gets pissed off and he going ahead with his plan to expose Sloan when she couldn’t give him anything and he blame her having Dimtri transferred to a different prison and then calls Nicole who arrived with EJ at Eric Apartment with a Christmas present for the baby and which EJ tells Eric it ok he wants Nicole to heal and be happy for Eric and which Eric agreed to it as he ok with it and Sloan gets mads that Nicole around the baby then starts becoming accepting of Nicole”s “grief”.Nicole and EJ get the baby “ashes” and they decide to pour them outside where the outside Christmas tree is set and EJ goes inside to get Nicole a jacket and she pays tribute to Grace DiMera the child she adopted and gave to Sami to raise in the switch which Grace died at six months old , her own daughter Sydney DiMera I who she miscarried on November 24, 2008, her stillborn son Daniel DiMera who was born and stillborn on October 12, 2012 when EJ gets back she and EJ pour “their baby ashes” together as a way to help grief because Nicole didn’t want a funeral or memorial for the baby.
Later that night baby Jude started crying and getting fussy he kept Eric and Sloan up all night and Sloan decides to take him out for a walk and she then gets a call from Leo and a flustered Sloan is stunned that Leo tells her about Dimtri prison transfer and he going to exposed her and then Sloan gets distracted and accidentally leaves Jude behind and little did she know Nicole would be by walking down and Nicole thinks someone left a baby on the street for neglected and she decided to take the baby and go back home with Jude and she take care of him but EJ is mad that Nicole has a baby and he trys to clear Nicole crime of Kidnapping the baby which she doesn’t want to give up and EJ want to get someone to take the baby so Nicole not caught of stealing a baby which he later finds out it was Jude she had and started panicking and Leo who still calling Sloan set this up into motion for revenge Sloan by getting her distracted and leaving the baby behind and Sloan starts freaking out she almost confessed her secrets to Eric when Harris Michaels shows up and give Eric and Sloan a lead on “their baby” Jude and Harris points out Nicole as a possible kidnapper but then Sloan stays quiet.
Later that day EJ finds Nicole in the wine cellar and she was holding the baby who was just left unattended on the Horton Square outside of the bakery Sloan went into leaving the baby and Nicole took him as she told EJ and EJ looks shocked and hurt that Nicole did that and Nicole thought of taking the baby herself for her and EJ to raise but then EJ talk her out of it and they soon goes into the police station and Nicole is with baby Jude and EJ with her there and Nicole gives the baby to Eric and Sloan is pissed off and tells Rafe to have Nicole arrested for kidnapping and which Eric defends Nicole because of her grief and made sure the baby was safe and Sloan then does what Eric wants and lets Nicole go free without a arrest and once Eric and EJ leaves the police station Sloan threatens Nicole to stay away from “her baby” and which Nicole is so stunned and hurt.
On December 25, Eric and Sloan with baby Jude took Christmas family photos together Off-screen and Sloan is mad that Eric had Jude wear the Christmas onesie that Nicole pick out for him and gave him as gift and she then goes on to insult Nicole in front of Eric when Nicole not there about “their baby” and Jude wakes up and Eric decides to take him for a walk this time he drove him to the Horton town square where Nicole and Holly are after Holly had a hangover from her birthday.
Sloan is shocked to see Leo at her door step and is homeless and hasn’t showered and smells he stated to her he was living in a homeless shelter and he broke without money and he wants Sloan to pay up and she refuses and making excuses like she has to pay rent on the apartment Eric and her live in and a baby a to raise he then goes on the threaten her some more but doesn’t help and she refused him and he leaves and so happens to leave to meet up with Eric and Jude.
Eric along with Nicole decided to celebrate Holly birthday and Holly got to meet her baby brother Jude for the first and hold him which Eric and Nicole looked bittersweet and Then Sloan along with Leo stopped by and looked at Nicole , Eric , Holly and Jude at the table down by the bakery and Leo said they look like a sweet happy family in which Sloan looks pissed off jealous.
Following a few days later Leo interrupted a family moment with Sloan , Eric and baby Jude which turned ugly when Leo spending habit spins out of control and Sloan get worried and Eric paid for their snacks as thank you and suggest he get a job to support them and set a trust fund up for Jude.
On New Year’s January 1,2024, Eric talked about his late daughter Mickey to Sloan and how he didn’t want to miss out on Jude first few moments as a baby like he did his daughter Mickey and then Eric got to talking about Holly how he raised since she was a baby and was like a father to her and then Eric got the call that Holly overdose and rushes to the hospital to see Nicole and Holly where they got to talking about Holly and Jude together and hugged each other.
Following that day Sloan had Jude and she get a text where her credit card was making a transaction that she didn’t authorize and rushed over to where Leo stayed he was hangover from New Year and she then demanded he stop spending her money and he then teases her with getting his job and want to spill her secrets and she then put a spending app on his phone to track what he spends and they hand shake it out and she then leaves his hotel room.
As Leo continues to follow Eric , Sloan and Jude for months begging for money and wanted blackmail Sloan hard by throwing insults in her face.
Sloan developed a jealousy towards Jude and Eric See’s it and she started to drink over the course of three months and she even told Eric chose her or the baby Jude which Eric found very crazy he went out of his way to give her Valentine’s Day do over when he slept next to Jude both passed out on Valentines Day and Sloan who got a necklace with Jude name on it felt left out and Jude was taking over.
Leo continues his schemes with Sloan even hired Eric as his photographer for the Spector Column “the lady whistleblower” and was thrown hints about which he played out like a joke and Eric didn’t get them at all and he even got offer to baby sit Jude once.
Nicole continues to grieve her son for months even mention him a couple of times when Holly overdose comatose occurred and she even left town to attend to Holly in a rehab facility in Italy when she was in coma and Nicole got bring her home to Salem on Valentines Day which she woke up the following night.
Melinda kept on making Sloan not give up on Eric and the baby Jude and which Sloan didn’t care she rather have Eric then the baby and promised Melinda not to tell Eric the truth .
Eric grew more worried about Jude being around Sloan as she became a alcoholic.
Jude godparents were named Melinda Trask and Brady Black.
In March Nicole planned Jude christening and the reception was held at the DiMera Mansion.
Leo wasn’t invited to the christening by Sloan and then Eric invited him as a thank you for watching Jude and being there for him.
Sloan didn’t want Nicole at Christening she even didn’t invite until Eric stop Sloan and re-invite Nicole to the christening service and then Nicole said that her and have to get a along for the children sake given Holly is Eric surrogate daughter and Jude his son and that Holly thinks of Jude as her brother and she got Jude calm down with Sloan and Eric looking on.
Following night Eric and Nicole finally grieve the loss of their son in late march.
Leo almost confessed at the christening which he doesn’t tell the truth at all in which he believes the pact he made with Melinda and Sloan would work but only if he gets paid for keeping his mouth shut.
Jude sister Holly then confesses at Jude christening reception that she overdosed on her own and Tate didn’t give her the drugs and Nicole blame herself for grieving the loss of her son and not taking care of Holly.
In April , Eric grew suspicious of Sloan and why she didn’t pay rent for that month and he then demanded she tell him.
In Late April, Eric finds out Sloan has been paying Leo for blackmailing her which he confronts both Sloan and Leo at the Salem Inn, Sloan continues to lies still and Leo is growing tired.
Eric grows suspicious of Sloan as he knows she being paying Leo and he then confronts Sloan about their money problems but she still lies but it be her last time.
Eric and Nicole Jude parents both start working at Spectator together and comfort each other as they compare notes.
Sloan cuts off Leo as his blackmail payments and he grow tired of her and Melinda pact they made and he decided to tell EJ the truth about Nicole baby being alive. Eric finds out that Leo blackmailed Sloan and he then makes a realization that what everything Leo was saying was true and that Sloan is lying and he even stunned to figure out Jude is Nicole son.
Nicole is at a therapy session with Marlena when EJ and Eric start to figure out the truth about her baby being alive.
In Late April-early May, Leo revealed the truth about Nicole son being alive to EJ who is stunned and shocked and he then goes to confront Sloan who told him that he not the father of Nicole Baby Jude and he then demands a DNA Test and take his , Eric Toothbrush and Jude DNA samples to the lab and had Dr.Rolf run the tests and he kept quiet about Nicole baby being alive from her and made a agreement with Sloan who made a full confession to EJ about the DNA Test switches and kidnaping of Nicole son Jude which has EJ Mad and he then begs a drunken Leo not to tell anyone and paid him off and Leo went to the Salem inn where Eric shows and Leo who is throwing hint about at Eric about Jude and Eric doesn’t believe him.
Nicole got to bond with Jude before Mother’s Day when Eric and Nicole started working together.
Eric forgave Sloan for being blackmailed by Leo who he still befriends even though he hated him for blackmailing Sloan and he spends the Mother’s Day time with Sloan and give her a necklace with Jude birthstone on it and made her breakfast.
Leo who recently found out Dimitri skipped town with his new boyfriend once he was released from prison which left Leo heartbroken and set him on a war path to getting revenge on Sloan.
Nicole got to bond with Jude on Mother’s Day when Eric and Sloan took him out on a walk with them and Nicole just a fight with Holly.
EJ founds out he isn’t the father of Jude on Mother’s Day and which mad him very aggressive towards Sloan for her DNA switch and kidnapping Jude worse but agreed to stay quiet. While EJ paid off Leo who was drunken and threw more hints about Jude to Nicole and Eric they don’t believe him prior to EJ visiting him.
Sloan and a drunken Leo gets into a fight over him exposing the truth to EJ which ends his deal with Sloan.
Eric has John and Marlena help if they need him for taking care of Jude. Eric goes to Nicole and she gets drunk and she kisses Eric and EJ sees them.
EJ gives Sloan an ultimatum after seeing Nicole kissing Eric and demands she return the baby to him but he give her a 24 hours notice to do so.
Sloan confesses to Eric she kidnapped Jude and Eric is breaks down into tears and anger hearing everything about Jude kidnapping.
Meanwhile Eric has Jude and he started to remember everything that happened last couple of months and he brings Jude to Nicole and EJ where Nicole shocked to find out Jude really her son and Nicole and Jude reunited and bonding.
But little does Eric and Nicole that EJ is trying pass Jude off as his own son with Nicole because Eric the biological father and trying to keep Eric from his son to hurt Eric for kissing a drunken Nicole.
Eric gets support from his parents following Jude return to Nicole and his heartbreak over it and Sloan betrayal over the whole situation.
Sloan disappears as Eric and Rafe goes look for her and she has a warrant for her arrest but later that day she be confronted by Nicole over taking Nicole son all these months and making Nicole think “her son died” and the two fight.
Eric confronts Leo that day as he fully confesses to all of his wrong doings in the kidnapping of Jude and yet their something shocking that Eric adds up.
Melinda is caught for her role in the kidnapping of Jude on the day Eric confronts Leo and Nicole showdown with Sloan.
Eric gets into a fight with Leo about Jude kidnapping and how he was involved in the scheme but then Rafe broke up the fight and they figured out Melinda.
EJ runs into Leo who put together that EJ isn’t Jude father real fast and why he paid him off.
Rafe and Eric finds out Melinda was part of the scheme of kidnapping Jude so he goes to Nicole and is met up with Sloan who was in a fight with Nicole.
Sloan almost told Eric and Nicole Jude their son but EJ stops her from doing it and he takes her outside and tells her to flee the country and never comeback or else she caught and thrown in prison for kidnapping.
Later that day Eric and Nicole talk about Jude routines and Eric leaves.
Rafe catches Melinda and almost arrested her got the kidnapping but then blackmail Rafe into not arresting her over Gabi case and getting Gabi free.
EJ finds out Melinda was involved in the baby kidnapping and he was angry at her and yelled at her and she also knows EJ knows that Jude is Eric son and so EJ couldn’t press charges against her for the ordeal and she was let go.
On June 14, Stefan finds the paternity test results in the safe the results says EJ isn’t Jude father and that reveals Sloan thought she tore up the right results which weren’t was revealed she hadn’t at all.
Stefan and EJ fight over EJ keeping Jude away from Eric and not telling Nicole the truth about Jude being Eric son and not his.
Late June , Stefan seceded in his plan to get Gabi out of prison with blackmailing EJ over Jude paternity.
In Early July 2024, Melinda almost exposed EJ wasn’t Jude father when she got into a fight with Nicole and EJ kicked Melinda out of his house.
Following next day when Gabi is home she stumbles across EJ and Stefan having a fight and she overheard a secret Jude paternity and she hears Eric is really Jude biological father she then proceeds to tell Nicole the the truth and she then goes to Eric who was ready to leave for Paris with his new job and Nicole tells Eric Jude is his son and they reunite with Jude as their son for first time and EJ overhears Gabi telling Stefan she told Nicole the truth about Jude paternity and EJ vowed revenge on Stefan and Gabi.
Nicole came back to the DiMera Mansion for a divorce from EJ and to pack her , Jude and Holly things up to move out after his lies.
Nicole and Eric bond with their son Jude and talk about their future as a family and parents and Nicole later confronts Leo for his part in the baby switch secret and EJ is later confronted by Marlena for trying keep Eric from his son and both Nicole and Eric are considered leaving Salem with their son Jude to Paris for Eric new job.

Jude Brady Is the only surviving child and son of Eric Brady and third son of Eric’s.

- EJ got Jude Brady mother Nicole pregnant at the same time as Jude Brady Aunt Sami Brady was pregnant in 2008 just like father Eric got mother Nicole pregnant at same time as Sloan was pregnant in 2023.
- EJ daughter with Nicole died as a result of a miscarriage on November 24, 2008 just like Sloan baby Eric Brady III with Eric died as result of a miscarriage on August 21, 2023 while EJ’s daughter with Sami survived the baby switch and was born on January 29, 2009 just like Nicole gave birth to Eric surviving baby who born on November 10,2023.
