Madison James, portrayed by Sarah Brown, was a character on Days of Our Lives. Having arrived in fall 2011, Madison was the CEO of MadWorld Cosmetics, a competitor of Kate DiMera's Countess Wilhelmina Cosmetics. She was powerful, strong-willed and sometimes fierce. Her bad past left her scared of love, especially with her co-workers. She was childhood friends with Sami Brady, and is the ex-fiancee of Brady Black. She is the ex-wife of Ian McCallister, through blackmail. She was Brady's fiancee until her death on August 15th, 2012.

Storyline:

Madison arrived in Salem as the CEO of Mad World Cosmetics. She met with Victor Kiriakis and Brady Balck, who were interested in acquring her business. Madison and Kate Roberts-Dimera were rivals and would often clash. She also reunited with Sami Brady, her childhood friend, and hired to work at her company.

Madison and Brady started flirting with each other, though Madison was determined it wouldn't turn into anything more, it eventually did. Madison and Sami planned to commit corporare espionage to take down Kate, but when Brady warned her how dangerous it was for Sami, Madison told Sami to abort the plan. Sami and Madison ahd a fallout and Sami quit Mad World.

On the night Brady planned to propose to Madison, Ian MacAllister, Madison husband, showed up in Salem. Brady was shocked and angry. He broke up with Madison, but she later explained her marriage to Ian was a business arrangement. Madison asked Ian for a divorce, but he refused.

Eventually, Brady forgave Madison, and Ian granted her a divorce once he reuinted with Kate. However, Ian  sabotaged Brady and Madison's relationship. Ian slipped drugs into Brady's drink, which led Madison to believe he was using again. Despite Brady's protests, Madiosn accompanied him to rehab.

On the night of an event, honoring the recently deceased Dr. Lexi Carver, Madiso and Ian got into a tense argument about Brady's absense. Suddenly, an explosion rocked Salem, knocking Ian and Madison to the ground. When Ian came to, he found Madison had been mortally wounded. Ian tearfully told her how he had always loved her and was just using Kate. Madison died with her last words being "I love you Brady".
