Tamara Price is a character from the soap opera Days of Our Lives, portrayed by Marilyn McCoo from 1986-87.
In 2019, its announced that Tamara will return to Salem for her daughter Lani Price and Eli Grant's wedding. She will return starting November 1st, 2019.
Storylines
Tamara was introduced in August 1986 as the college roommate of Marlena Evans. Tamara surprises Marlena as she is set to remarry Roman Brady. Tamara initially clashes with Roman's best friend Abe Carver as she cut him off in traffic rushing to the ceremony. Tamara is running from Coleman, a mysterious man from her past. Tamara gets a gig singing at Blondie's which upsets Liz Chandler's as she is out of a job. Despite their rocky start, Abe and Tamara begin dating. However, it becomes obvious Tamara is keeping something from him. She is horrified when Coleman confronts her and promises to go "legit" if she returns to him. However, Coleman does not want to leave his wife. Abe looks into Coleman's background when Tamara suddenly announces that they have reunited. She leaves town in May 1987. In 2015, a girl named Lani comes to Salem. Its soon revealed that she is Tamara and Abe's daughter.
Tamara returns on November 1st, 2019 to attend her daughter Lani Price's wedding to Eli Grant.
