Tori Narita is a character from the soap opera Days of Our Lives, portrayed by Hira Ambrosino in 2015.
Storylines
Tori's son, Paul Narita, was an all-star pitcher who came to Salem for rotator cuff surgery. While there, Paul became the subject of a magazine article, written by Will Horton. During the course of the interview, Will began to suspect Paul was gay. But Paul wasn't quite ready to come out.
In addition to fearing repercussions of a professional athletic locker room, Paul worried that his proud, Japanese grandfather and mother would be hurt by the news. So, before the article was published, Paul called his mother and grandfather to tell them the news personally.
Hiro was immediately supportive. He told Paul that he was proud of him and loved him. But, Tori was not as understanding. She told Paul that she'd known all along, but wondered why Paul had to come out now.
A few days later, Tori arrived in Salem and wanted to take Paul back with her to San Francisco. While she was there, Paul introduced her to Marlena Evans. Tori was shocked to see her. Tori was even more shocked to see John Black in Salem, because John was Paul's biological father. But, Tori had told Paul that his father died before she could tell him that she was pregnant.
